Could you add another receiver/amplifier to a system (such as a bose cinemate) that already has a built in receiver/amplifier???

The best answer I could come up with is no. You still limited by the Cinemate receiver.

I don't know about that system since I don't care for Bose but many setups will have a amp/preamp out which bypasses the amp in the receiver. If you plan on doing that I would just replace the system.
