I've had bad experience 3 times now with a co, then i had bought from another site which i never had the tiniest problem receiving parcels sealed , secured and not tampered [even at my country's customs].

Making short my long story, sellers are responsible for packaging contents and its security. Secure the items so, that its not at least tampered so badly before reaching end user.

The best way for any sites selling bd's is to check and verify + get customers feedback on courier service that they feel secure and better for business.

Thank you for your reply and hope you dont experience this problem any more with which ever compnay you use ,
as nobody has control over shipments once it leaves their warehouse no matter how secure especailly dealing with the indian postal or courier companies .We try our best to get packets delivered by courier companies but dont take responsibilty over customs and courier companies tampering with the shipments ,i think we speak for majority online stores .

Thanks Swamy

That's what i meant, the customs and courier companies are exempted in this case. So its purely , the selling partys' responsible to secure and double check the items whether they are safe and decent to send.

If someone were to point at , it has to be the selling party and not the transitting party.

I have received bd's scratched and off the case recently from [dont want to name the company] party. My customers has been furious over the shipment and demanding refund. I had to. And those items shipped to them are returning to me and i do not have the faintest watsoever idea to do with this bd's.

I guess i have to throw them in the bin!

The first time I purchased from you guys before December ended, I had a similar problem. I ordered 2 copies of Dostana and Bachna each, along with single copies of DDLJ, Silsila, and Kabhi Kabhie. Everything came fine except the one two copies of Dostana and Bachna. The cases were completely smashed and it caused some of the coverart to be ripped. Thankfully the disc content was safe.

I'm not sure who to point the finger at for this one. The cases were technically smashed WITH the plastic over it.

I wanted to ask about that too... why couldn't it be sent with a normal postal service? Why express courier? I was in no rush and with that I had to pay $7 extra when it came on top of the shipping price I paid to you guys. Air mail would have sufficed.

There are better ways to send movies through the mail. For instance, media mail sent through the United States Postal Service (USPS) is packaged in bubble mailers. Also, Amazon now sends movies by sealing them in plastic around a piece of cardboard, which is then placed in the typical cardboard box. It is not fair to the customer if they receive damaged BDs, which is why Amazon gladly allows you to return them free of charge should any item be damaged in transit. I have had an experience of purchasing an Indian Blu-ray from one of the popular online Indian stores, and I received it with the case cracked in two spots. I haven't had this issue when purchasing non-Indian Blu-rays from Amazon or other reputable stores. As a result, I'm now afraid to buy again from such stores that fail to offer refunds for damaged items.

+1. Very simple technique. Use envelope with embedded bubble wrap or USPS envelope with cardboard pieces on top and bottom.

I second the thought and suggestion.

Finger pointing at postal services does show the ignorance to accept the fact that seller making a mistake while processing orders.

I'm meant all majority online sellers btw..
