Last Man Standing on BD? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone heard of Last Man Standing (with Bruce Willis) coming out on BD? That is certainly one for the collection.

IIRC that is a New Line title so soon after Lord of the Rings is released

If NL does put it out on BD, considering the age of the film, they probably need to remaster it first. You never know, but I wouldn't bet on the existing master living up to expectations.

If you liked LMS, you might want to keep a look out for Yojimbo too. It's not on BD either. And when it does come, it could be from Criterion or a Japanese release. But, Yojimbo is the original Japanese film that LMS was based on and is a much better movie, if you dig samurai/ronin flicks.

I've watched Last Man 5 or 6 times on movie networks and always pan and scan. I'm sure if it ever comes to be on Blu it will need some tinkering. Would buy it no questions asked.

Not everyones favourite movie, but ireally liked it. Looking forward to some crisp 1080p and thumping DTS Master... Hopefully..

always been a guilty pleasure of mine. another retelling of yojimbo/fistful of dollars with a bit of hong kong violence, whats not to love. the music in that one is great too, would love to hear it lossless. not holding my breath for a blu-ray release though.
