Standing the PS3 diagonally - Blu-ray Forum

I know the PS3 can stand diagonally but is it bad for the system? I could use the extra room but I dont want to damage the PS3.

diagonally? i do hope you mean vertically. and if you do mean diagonally, that is bad! it is either vertical or horizontal, horizontal is the best postion.

Mine stands vertically and I haven't had any problems...hopefully that streak continues.

lol, I never watched/read Harry Potter but that makes it sound like a School House Rock "Edu-tainment" sort of thing. Is "Diagon Alley!" next to Conjunction Junction?

I have mine vertically. Most of the heat dissipates through the right side (if you're facing it) which then becomes the top, and my 1st grade science book taught me that heat rises--so I say it's good!
