United Kingdom Collateral -Michael Mann, come on! June

14 June. Love this film and Cruise's best for a very long time. Mann obviously actually directed him.

I know this got a mention a week ago but it got lost with mention of some crappy children's cartoon.

One of the few Blurays I'll watch the day I get it. 1080p all the way!

Yep, I can't wait either! This is my favourite performance from Tom Cruise. He fits the role so well.

Why is HMV's a "special edition"?

It's not in HMV's "Exlusive" section so I'm guessing it's a bit of a slip. Just a DVD SE makeover.

You can always keep an eye @

http://www.bva.org.uk/node/504236

...and the UK censor http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classi...)&SearchMax=50 If there was a different version (we know Mann likes to act like George Lucas sometimes) of the film or new materials it'll be appearing on the censor's website.

Mann's best film -and in my greatest films of the last century- is Manhunter.

Then Heat (which I love dearly) and then Collateral. Not forgetting the groundbreaking -IMO- Thief and the very enjoyable The Insider. And then Miami Vice. Can't help myself as I just love the style of it

Yes, I'm a bit of a Mann fan.

I just wish the distibutor would pry Manhunter from that disgusting comedic Bluray set as I'd buy it.

Don't suppose for a moment that The Keep will become available anytime soon. Would love to see this on Blu.

I think there was a lot of problems with Mann and the studio with The Keep, so I would not even start thinking about that one just yet lol, it will be a long time im guessing... since its not even on DVD.

Why not order in the US where it will be released on March 30th and has a way better cover?

Pretty much the same cover and they both look terrible! The best is the 2 disc DVD release:

That 2 disc DVD edition would have made a much better cover for the blu release. Still, two weeks today until release!

I have that 2 disc dvd in the slip and rarely watch that, so won't pick up the blu for a while. However, I have no problem at all with the artwork

That was the eBay picture from the seller I bought it from. Watched it too many times to count now! Love this film. Only a couple of weeks away

Ah right! Have to agree I do like this film, think im either gonna have to buy the blu or open my own!

As an afterthought would you have needed approval from the original photographer to publish that?!
