And if the UK release isn't out until November, then the U.S. release will probably be in late September or October, utilizing the same encode and transfer and both will be region-free.

It's been widely known that Heat would be released in late 2009. My guess is they will time the U.S. release on Blu-ray with the upcoming Public Enemies Blu-ray as well. I suspect we will see both in November.

I would definitely get both seperate.....if we are offered some kind of buy both get x% off deal, all the better.

Not necessarily. They're catalog titles, so maybe that's what WB charges for them in the UK. But when you tack on shipping and the exchange rate, it'll cost you the same as getting it for 20 bucks in US.
