3d question - Blu-ray Forum

Ok i have a Panny S1 and i was wondering if i was to but a 3D blu ray player would i be able to watch 3d movies? is my tv capable of doing things in 3d? if not then what all will i have to do?

No. You need a new TV that supports 3D and more then likely a receiver that supports HDMI 1.4. There is some debate on that though as rumor is the PS3 will be firmware updated to output 3D yet it only has 1.3a so it seems likely that 3D can be output via 1.3.

So unfortuantely, your S1 won't do it. Only the 2010 line from Panny has 3D, not the '09.
