so what exactly is the advantage of the thick disc layer offered by Blu-Ray? i thought it was scratch proof or fingerprint resistant in playback but i keep hearing otherwise??? so its just as susceptible to damage as a dvd? for some reason (and maybe it was that dude on youtube who used a hammer and fire to kill his discs in order to prove how durable they are) i thought they were above reproach in durability? whats the deal? (misadvertised?)
