Default Warner UK - Case Thickness?

does anyone know if UK releases of Bonnie and Clyde, Natural Born Killers and Poltergeist use the thicker blu-ray cases (which seem more common) or the thinner, USA style?

thanks

All my warners have thicker, but I don't have any of the mentioned above. The only thin case UK movie I have seen is Casino Royale. So basically, I don't think your going to see anymore thin cases in the UK.

Bonnie & Clyde is in the thicker case. I imagine you're asking about those particular titles because you don't like the digibook packaging that Warner have used in the US for these releases (and others). I'm with you there! I have bought the UK releases of Bonnie & Clyde and Dirty Harry and the Korean release of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for that very reason.

I strongly dislike the thick, shelf space wasting cases that are most common in the UK. If it was to be able able to stuff thick booklets in them then I'd say okay, but no, they are thick for no reason.

There are, however, UK releases in HD Slim cases. I was pleasently surprised that "Funny Games" and "Salò or The 120 Days of Sodom" came in thin cases.

The only thin case I've bought in the UK so far is '30 Days of Night'. The free copy of Casino Royale I got for buying my PS3 was also in a thin case, but the one I purchsed (before I knew I was getting a free copy ) was in the fatter case. Everything else I have came in the thick ones.

yep. can't stand the digibook. brings back bad memories of the snapper case. why can't warner offer both versions in the U.S.?

How is the UK Bonnie and Clyde and the Korean Cuckoo's Nest?

They are both fine. The contents and transfers are the same as for the US releases anyway - it's only the packaging (and maybe the choice of subtitles) that's different. In case you're wondering, the SD extras on the UK Bonnie & Clyde are in NTSC, not PAL, i.e. same as the US release. And the artwork on the Korean release of Cuckoo's Nest is predominately in English, including the spine title.
