just curious as to what your wallpaper is now that we get that option with the new 1.9 update. And what size tv do you have?

I have a 61" samsung tv and my current wallpaper for my ps3 is Megan Fox from July's 2007 Maxim magazine. Megan Fox is so beautiful, mmm

I had a The Darkness wallpaper but wife thought it was too dark so now I have a kingdom hearts 2 wallpaper, my kid loves it everytime i go to XMB my kid is like MICKEY MOUSE! 32'' sharp lcd tv

I've copied the jpg files from my former iMac that are the multicolor abstract swoosh designs used for the Apple iMac wallpapers.

Looks very nice. I've tried using other graphics and pictures, but if the graphic is too busy it can make the XMB menu hard to read.

Now my PS3 reminds me of being on OSX!

I tried a few, but then I figured I like the cool moving graphic that Sony put there better. Now if they would less us put movie loops there, that might be cool. You can kind of do it for awhile, if you want to impress someone by starting a video clip from the hard drive and then PS3 button out to the XMB, the video keeps playing as your background until you do something else. Would be cool if you could just set a video as the background, since it is obviously possible, that must be what the standard tube of light Sony graphic is.

The background graphic is realtime rendered, not video. I doubt they will ever allow video to be set as the background because it uses a lot of system resources. You'll notice video thumbnails become stills while playing video in the background and you can't access certain functions without stopping the video.

I've been doing that since the second I updated, I already had the pictures on my PS3.

I'm using Aqua Blue, it fits the screen nicely.

Hopefully they will let us choose a color for the wave in the next update. That's all I really want, especially since I mostly only use my PS3 at night so it is always black. They just need a color picker, and then a slider to adjust the intensity (like the time of day that it does now).
