There is not much to be happy about, if the U.S. gets given the same piece of shit that Universal has already put out there in other territories. You will certainly be lucky if they use Arrow's work for the U.S. version.

If it's Arrow's transfer I'll get it in the $5 bin to have a region A copy, but I have the Arrow edition and it's the total package.

So glad I got that cheap $80 region free player from Sears.com like two years ago .. The Arrow steelbook of "The 'Burbs" was my first purchase.

Honestly, Universal should have licensed this to Shout!/Scream Factory, that is, if they even pursued it. I think they did though and admitted on the KillerPOV podcast that Universal said they wanted to put it out themselves. Let's face it, Universal won't put forth effort into this as far as bonus materials go. You'll probably get the theatrical trailer.

Arrows release of the burbs was the reason I went region free too. Such a fun movie and arrows release it great stuff. I'm interested to see know more about this one as I would like a A release but unless they can use arrows work it will be hard to watch. Arrow showed us how good some of these flawed universal blurays can look. It's a shame that universal doesn't treat their own assets in the same way.
