Default Onkyo receiver problem diagnosis help

I have a Onkyo receiver problem I would like some help diagnosing. Recently my Onkyo SR605 has started dropping the video HDMI signal in the middle of watching something. The video will just cut to a red vertical distortion and then the receiver will reboot itself and then everything will be fine. Usually, this only happens about once a day.

I don't think it is a HDMI bandwith issue, because I have had these cables awhile and this problem is new. I suppose if it is a cable issue it would have the by the HDMI out to the TV because that is the only constant.

I don't think it is an issue with another component, because it has happens when I was watching the Satellite or the Blu-ray player.

I don't think it is a overheating issue because usually it happens pretty quickly after watching something.

Thanks for whatever help you can give. I just not sure what it is, and as it happens only once a day usually I am not ready to take it in for service somewhere yet, but at the same time it is annoying.
