Amazon UK has many HK and China film blu-ray for only 6-8 pounds

That include title such as IP man, Red Cliff, much cheaper than HK version, main difference they don't had 7.1 sound. But saving $20-30+ is worth a look.

just be careful (if you are a purist), UK discs sometimes are cut (I know Red Cliff and The Good... are slightly cut, mostly about animal cruelty)

it is a very good alternative as you mentioned (I have several UK versions)
