I nearly pooped my pants when I seen this was going Blu! One of my favorite concerts on DVD, without a doubt. The only downer? We have to wait til December 31st for it's release!

"The concert/documentary runs at about two-hours long, and spliced in between each song are interviews and behind the scenes footage"
I hate when they do this with concert dics. I find this interupts the flow of the show. Why can't they just have the complete show and put the other crap in the extras or as a bonus disc. Isn't that what DVDs/Blu-rays are all about? |

I've had my copy for almost a year now. It's pretty good. The picture quality is not the best, lots of grain, but the concert itself is high energy and great fun. You should enjoy it.
*edit* Check your local BestBuy. They had done a release of this last April. It still may be in stock there. If not, I can get you a copy now, if you want. Last edited by Zman2k2; 03-14-2010 at 03:15 PM. |

Other than The Last Waltz, which is a classic rock documentary, I don't like the documentary-style or interspersion of clips during a concert. Show me the concert as it was filmed and let me watch the other stuff when I want, if I so choose.

It's really not that bad. It's like 20-45 seconds of interview, mixed in among the concert. It's not like a 5 min. cut scene with talking, then a song, then another 5 min. of interview. It's not that disturbing to the experience at all.

+1 ![]() Doesnt matter if its only 30-45 seconds...............this just totally ruins the whole flow of the actual music/concert. Play the show uninterrupted, then put the interviews as bonus features. |

you can't argue though it would be less disturbing if it was not there at all

Paul McCartney released 2 concert DVD's, Back in the U.S. and The Space Within US that were ruined with cut scenes inbetween songs. Paul must have finaly listened to complaints and gave us a complete concert with Good Evening New York City . Now I wish he would release it on Blu-Ray.
![]() I just feel that a concert disc should be a concert. And all the extra footage, interviews, backstage stuff etc should be included in the extra's or bonus disc. |

I have the Last Supper DVD from Black Sabbath, and the interview footage is put ON TOP of the concert footage. Only 2 or 3 songs from the whole show are uninterrupted and can be heard all the way through. It would have been a perfect disc otherwise. |
