Default 5 Most Films U Want to See Due to Recommendations or Hype From This Website??

Man we talk about a lot of films on this site and a lot of films get a lot of hype and many recommendations. What are the 5 most that now intrigue u due to these reasons? Brand new films could count but Im really lookin for older films that slipped threw the cracks and u missed it for whatever reason. My top 5 that I am anxious to see now are:

1. Alien
2. Event Horizon
3. Sunshine
4. Dark City
5. Titanic

Wow a lot of sci-fi there. There are also a few foreign films but imagining viewing a full film of subtitles still scares me. Got Em!!

Dude, watch Alien and Aliens.

Since you haven't watched them yet, skip the rest.

I had seen Dark City a long time ago and had never seen Event Horizon, had to watch them both after all the hype I read from users on this site...Dark City was ok, pretty good, and Event Horizon was just a let down. Didn't think it was scary at all and the acting was lame.

Sunshine I did see after reading about it on this site and loved it. 100 times better than Event Horizon.

Yea I still have weary feelings also but these are the 5 that seem to peak my interest the most of the ones talked about. Blade Runner is another one I forget to list as I only put 5 but I am still having mixed feelings about that one. Got Em!!

Well I am biased since Blade Runner is one of my favorite films of all time, but I highly recommend it. It's not really an action-packed sci-fi film though...more of a philosophical story that happens to take place in the future with androids

Give "Blade Runner" a shot. It's an awesome movie.

Dark City is easy to recommend at eight dollars. Unique story that is executed really well.

Sunshine you should probably rent first. It starts out strong but somewhere in the middle loses it's way.

Let The Right One In is really slow and it's not a horror movie, but it is fantastic!
Really great performance by the kids!

Moon is a bit overrated but ultimately worth it in my opinion...
It sometimes feels like a huge student movie to be honest.

Yeah, I have been hearing a lot about it and caught the pool scene on youtube yesterday and I am now hooked.

Yeah, I had that feeling about it also but since I am a Sc-fi nut I don't think that I will have a problem with it.

But who knows.

It shouldn't be a problem for you to enjoy it

I'm glad that I blindbought it but it was almost anti climax since I expected more from it, just adjust your expectations accordingly...

Come on Q Moon was in the mold of old school Sci Fi before there was a Star Wars (Films like Silent Running). Moon was pure greatness and should be nominated for best picture...but it wont.
