Help! My new monitor's colors and image looks like crap! - Blu-ray Forum

I just got a Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD monitor and I have it connected to my Ps3 to watch dvds/blurays/ and play games and watch videos off an external HD.

I just plugged it in and the colors look like crap!

I know NOTHING about contrast/brightness etc, and would like it if someone could possibly let me know what are the optimal settings to put this on? My previous monitor I didn't have to adjust ANYTHING, it was just spectacular out of the box. That was an Acer.

If anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative! I'm on the verge of boxing this up and sending it back!

Right Now these are my settings:

Backlight: 6
Contrast: 92
Brightness: 48
Sharpness: 53
Color: 52
Tint: 50

Color Tone: Normal
HDMI Black Levvel: Normal
Film Mode: Off
Digital NR: Auto
Size: 16:9
