You should install a plugin which automatically resizes images that are over a certain size.

personally if they dont fit within the vb format right I generally use spoiler tags, I notice alot more people doing it as well...I would perfer an automatic thumbnail type box , especially when loading that screenshot thread

Just resize using paint or photoshop
