United Kingdom "A Tale of Two Sisters" DVD vs. BD

The Beaver made a comparison (http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCom...wo-sisters.htm) and the Korean DVD definitely looks better!

This is really hard, since - even if the source-material was crap - the BD should at least look as good as the DVD. So there must have gone something wrong in the production of the BD!

What technical mistakes could lead to that?

Such a shame, glad I didn't get this for Christmas then! Guess I'll be picking up a standard DVD of A Tale Of Two Sisters for now.

Got Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance and Lady Vengeance on BD instead.

Okay, so the US Lady Vengeance has been announced with both versions. An explanation as to how they're getting the full colour version and we in the UK didn't, is sorely needed. And I'm not buying 'was unavailable', it was released in Hong Kong and other European territories and now the US.

Apologies if that sounds blunt, I'm just f**ked off at having to buy Lady Vengeance AGAIN!!

wow, that beaver comparison of the dvd and bd is shocking.
just so disappointing that the bd is so poor.
I really hope they get their act together, as they certainly have produced some good products in the past.
Also certainly hope the "insider" returns.
not looking too promising considering the date.

Doubt it's their fault, they were probably give a poor master by the Korean studio.

However they shouldn't have released it in the first place with such poor quality and should have waited until they had access to a better quality master.

Well every other post is someone getting all emotional about perceived Tartan screwups, so I'm not sure I would blame him if he didn't hurry back!

If it does, it will likely look the same. Hoping for a Korean release.
