Thumbs down Blu-ray VS. HD DVD

This is not even a race anymore Blu Ray is definitely way better I have about 120 Blu Ray Movies and I think they are fantastic and I think paramount screw them self out of big bucks because I was going to buy every one of their movies scheduled to be released and I have about 30 paramount movies in my collection now so why would paramount do such a stupid move you ask because if they didn`t HD-DVD was going to be dead but hey who say`s transformers will be released on HD-DVD I haven`t seen a release date yet and as far as Micheal Bay is concerned Blu Ray is better then HD-DVD so guess what HD-DVD I really don`t care because guess what Blu Ray still gets great movies like Karate Kid, Star Wars, Home Alone, Rocky, Rambo, Stand By Me, Pirates of the Carribeans, Spider Man, Close encounters of the third kind, Die Hard, Predator, Platoon, and all the great disney cartoons which may I add way better then dreamworks animation so hey after saying all that what do you think now HD-DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I have to say is wait til this Holiday season is over and Fox floods the market with quality titles exclusive to Blu-Ray.

Yes, but he added extra exclamation marks "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" at the end to make up for all the missing periods, so it evens out.

Just kidding guy, welcome to the forums.

Here's the thing, I agree with your 'they're desperate' proclamation. But Bay never said that BD was better. He said Paramount had the advantage of having their movies on both formats so that everybody could enjoy them. Now only half are going to. He would have done the same thing if Paramount had jipped HD.

Except that Blu-ray makes up MORE than half the market share. So it is actually loosing the majority of HD sales.
