Default I kind of miss the good ol' days .....

It didn't seem to long ago that we were all arguing over the "grain" on 300. (which by the way I ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything about the movie) I miss those threads. Now it's all about Paramount this and that. I'm disapointed about the news, but it's not gonna bring me down. I've got PLENTY of exclusive titles coming down the pike, and I can't wait to spend all my money that I would've spent on Paramount flicks on the others. Pirates, Spidey, Die Hard, Simpsons, Fantastic 4, etc., etc., etc..

Thank God for Fox, Disney and Sony!
Can I get an AMEN!!!

Default Yup.

Amen!

paramount is obviously a big part of this though...

i dont know if ALL the threads about paramount going exclusive are needed though.

and the fact that people are literally ceasing to support blu-ray simply becuase of paramount is really... quite retarded.

one company goes exclusive and you just STOP buying blu-rays? Come on... Big supporters they are.

No offense, 300 was mediocre at best(story), the grain further detracted from the movie as a whole... but that is just my opinion.

Paramount?
Meh.
"I'm going Neutral" "Boycott" "Write Letters"

People who are saying they'll go neutral because of this need to realise that this "shock" announcement was probably decided weeks, if not months ago. Look at how they "moved" "the jack ryan collection" that was a few days ago. Coincidence, I doubt it. They probably moved its place in the replicator line in case the HD-dud deal didn't get signed as a fall-back, and we wouldn't be any the wiser to what they were doing.

It's all good. If Fox keeps going strong as they look like they will be doing from now on, Paramount will have no choice but to eventually come back. I'd rather have Fox over Paramount any day. Their releases were consistently higher quality than Paramounts, and they have a better catalog of titles, except some Spielberg stuff that's not coming out on HD DVD anyway.

People claim to be Blu-ray fanatics, but then threaten to boycott the format because of this announcement There will be plenty of exclusives that surpass anything Paramount has to offer, in much better quality. I'll take nearly 20-year-old Die Hard over Transformers anyday. Why go neutral when the other format forces you to accept a lower standard? Why pay good money for that?

Just my .02. Oh yeah, Amen.

Seriously, though makes a nice high-school bravado phrase to say "I'm tired of talking about Paramount"--
But those of a deviously grownup age could point out the distinct advantages of enhanced mutiny, and that we could help shorten the war by a few months to a year, just by taking the time and trouble to make a Paramount out of a molehill...We are living in the CNN age, after all, where news evolves fast.

Trust me this is the good old days. Have a look back at the posts from about March - May last year. Only then a couple of the famous trolls roamed in sheep's clothing, apart from the odd troll wandering about for a short time everyone is exceptionally well behaved (keep it up).
