can i do this? i am going to be doing a custom pc build and i have vista right now, but i also have an upgrade code for 7, i am trying to avoid having to buy a new copy of an OS if i can avoid it, so my questions are:
can i transfer the OS from my current PC to the new one? and if so, how can i do this? i assume its not as easy as pulling the hard drive the OS is on now and connecting it to the new build and is it a better idea to transfer vista and then upgrade, or should i do the upgrade to 7 first, and then deal with the transfer? |
