Default Every warner title of importance should have "Maximum Movie Mode"

It is an awesome feature that other studios should hop on

Yes, I agree this feature should be on all great WB films. I wish we could have it on THE EXORCIST with friedkin, Blatty, and Blair.

I can't wait to see this mode with COP OUT as I am a huge Kevin Smith fan and his commentaries are ****ing funny so seeing this well most likely be up thier with that.

I can take it or leave it, it really depends upon the film. As long is it does not add to the cost of Blu-rays go for it. But, I would not pay extra for it on many films.

It's OK, but I think Universal's U-Control is better

I wasn't too impressed with it on 'Watchmen' , what was the big deal about the director coming on screen saying tid-bits about the making of the film, and pointing at a book on screen saying "oh look, we put this here as a homage" etc.

Then again, I'm not a huge fan of PiP at all.... I don't like having to re-watch the entire film for small behind the scenes clips spread out during the film... just list them in the special features and let me decide when to watch them.

The fact that small things like that (which often get overlooked in audio commentaries) can be pointed out by the director simply stopping the movie is a great feature. I also like PiP, because it can give additional information when used with an audio commentary. On its own, it's still good. However, a lot of movies simply use the same stuff from the documentaries and put those in the PiP track. That's just lazy to me.

They put it on their major releases, and those two movies are major releases for Warner. Wouldn't make sense not to put it on them, regardless of whether you think the movies are crap or not.

I think its a great feature myself. I thought the Watchmen one was really good, its much better than a normal PiP IMO.

I can live without it, good that they put it for those who enjoy it. I find myself watching special features less and less on major releases. Only Criterion still make special features I wish to see.

Its basically the director coming up full screen and talking you through parts of the movie. There is 2 screens behind him showing the movie and the behind the scenes stuff he is talking about.

I love the implementation of it on TERMINATOR SALVATION. It was a brilliant concept of giving all the behind the scenes elements of the film into one stream.

Yes, loved the stop screen, split screen usage to tell the story. I'd love to see it on more films.

Just one caveat. After you watch it the first time, doesn't really hold more replay value.

I'd like to see them go more in a direction of having the split screen/stop screen narration and have the other graphic information separately available (ala U-CONTROL). Gives the opportunity to watch different segments.
