Question

im thinking about buyin the dvd when it comes out...and then set up my HDTV with nice cantrast brightness etc,,,,,that when the ps3 upscale it,,there wil be a small differnece between teh HD-DVD verison and my DVD version...will it work?

DVD for me til either Paramount goes Blu again or i go neutral late next year.

someone is bound to copy a high def version online, wouldn't be much easier to just convert to mp2 or mp4 (file could be huge) and transfer to ext. HDD to playback on the PS3? I've seen HDDVD rips online unless they are not what they say they are, but it seems to me that it could be worth a try.

good I dont want this movie now lame paramount lol.. wasnt even intrested enough to see it at the theaters... give me spidey POTC and fantastic 4 anyday!

I'll buy the DVD and let my PS3 work its magic! I would love to see Fox announce Fight Club to release the same day Transformers were to come out on that other format, I think that would sell more than Transformers HD-DVD, I think the DVD sales of Transformers are going to be better than the HD-DVD as well.
