My new Apt Projector setup - Blu-ray Forum

New budget setup! Instead of getting a new TV since Im still happy with my old Panny I decided to get try out a projector. I got a 100 inch screen to drop drown in front of the TV for movie viewing and its working out really great!! This time its a shared setup with my Projector/TV living room until we get our own place. Still need to tidy up the new place but so far im happy with the end results.

Got myself an Elite 100 inch screen and a ViewSonic PJD5533. I know I know its not a top of the line 1080p projector but it looks great so it should hold me up until I decide to upgrade.

Will update with better pics once I finish up.

You have a Good Look Going There.
Extremely Clean with Nice Flowing Lines.

Love the Use of the RaceWays.
Your Cable Management is to be Applauded.

A Great Start Indeed.I cant wait to see where things go from Here.

But,Its a Solid System and you did a Great Job with the Install.

Ya it took me all day Sunday to get the raceways up there. The wifey is pregnant so she wasnt much help lol. Maybe by the end of the year after the baby comes i can start upgrading the speakers but for the time being they get the job done plenty good.

4 pieces of 14awg cable gets really really really heavy and thick! lol

Good eye, not quite sure what brand they are but they are black out curtains. My wifes grandmother wanted to buy us the curtains as a housewarming gift. I just said two words to the wife "Black out" lol. Still need to hang the other windows, I got the hangers up but the wife bought the wrong size rod

They came with my system, I like them but not at the price amazon has em. You can probably pick up some sanus stands way cheaper that will get the job done.

I barely got the new stand approved lol and that was only cause it counted as a "new house item" lol
