I'm fairly new to the audio scene. I have the 32" 1080p Sharp with the Yamaha RX-v361 receiver directing sound to a 5.1 Bose speaker setup. I'm generally useless when it comes to audio equipment, I was playing with the settings on the receiver and now the display shows L and R as the configuration, yet I hear sounds from all speakers. Before I tinkered with it, all squares showed up on the display and I have no idea what I hit or if this even effects anything.
Heres a picture of what I'm talking about: http://www.yamaha.co.jp/english/prod...nfo/rxv361.pdf Notice the squares on the right hand side of the display? I'm also wondering whats generally considered the best audio setting to leave my receiver on for games/movies. Currently its in 5CH Stereo with the words HiFi DSP above it (not sure what that means) but theres an array of other options, probably most notably the Pro Logic setting. Is anyone here familiar enough with this receiver to shed some light on it for me? Thanks! Last edited by that guy steveee; 08-26-2007 at 06:31 PM. |
