So, are these dogs also named Marley, 'cause that'd be pretty stupid.

I guess Fox is trying to copy Disney's "Buddies" franchise.

I just read on a blog(so take it for what that is) That its supposed to be a prequel type....not sure if its true. I cant find anything on imdb yet(must have a code name)

Or it's just not there yet, IMDb is usually accurate but they don't catch everything.

The 30 second teaser was on the Fantastic Mr. Fox. I guess they could be focusing on one point in Marley's life.

It will probably be a different dog named Marley w/ a different family. John Groggins (I think thats his last name) wrote the book "Marley and Me" and he did write a followup but I'm sure this movie has nothing to do w/ that. This is just Fox cashing in.

It is a science fiction film in which cloning has been used to create a replica of Marley!!!

Another in the long list of sequels to cash in on the original.
The original was ok, but they left out a lot from the book .

Though it has "Marley & Me" in the title, that doesn't mean that the couple doesn't buy puppies afterward, as the trailer on Fantastic Mr. Fox clearly suggests.

There doesn't appear to be just one dog starring in the sequel... now there's 101 of them (I hope).

Strange that we're still without an IMDb page for the film though. Kind of taking their time with that. As if Jason London, Lance Hennrrikkssen and Elias Koteas aren't starring...
