Talking Something to smile about...

The Blockbuster closest to the Paramount studio lot (the one in Larchmont for those who know the area) has recently started a big Blu-ray push with posters, a boatload of titles etc. Now they have two gigantic posters side by side in their front window, one for "Blades of Glory" and one for "Blu-ray - The Future of Hi-Def."

Why is it funny? Half of Paramount walks past the Blockbuster for lunch... I'm willing to bet a few people gnash their teeth every time they see it.

The big question is who they are gnashing at? Blockbuster or their own studio?

I gotta believe more than a few of the employees were Blu-ray fans.

Well, they don't all have to gnash at the same thing. Those who made the decision can gnash at Blockbuster, the others at their own company. Me, I just smile and drink my latte. It IS Hollywood after all...

Well, with Disney ramping up Blockbuster promotions for its treasures on BD, Paramount will have even more reason to gnash, and all--
At least, once Disney starts putting up BD posters for its Gnash-'n-All Treasure, Too!

(...Ahem, I'll just be leaving the thread, now, thanks. )
