Default Blockbuster is robbing us!

I posted this elsewhere but I wanted to get the word out to everyone.
Im not sure if anyone does blockbuster online but my queue is loaded with blu ray selections. The thing is out of 15 on my queue all are either short wait, long wait, or very long wait! Everytime I return a movie I get a SD DVD from the bottom of my queue. Now here is my point: if blockbuster does not have the correct inventory to support Blu ray owners then arent they fudging the numbers to HD DVDs side?
For instance to simpliy, if they have a 100 hds and 100 blurays of a certain title but 100 hd users and 300 bluray users have them queued it actually shows equal
sales when in reality demand is 3:1. I have emailed them daily for a week on this but I get those letters for the masses that explain how a queue works. I really think that they have little concern for this but seriously 15 titles on a wait is unacceptable!! The only redeeming thing is I take in my return envelopes and clear my local store out of their blu ray titles. Any suggestions on contacting someone higher up becuase I really like going to the store to get movies while I wait, although I know netflix does a good job of having Bluray titles in stock.

I only have blu-rays in my Queue, and I get a constant 3 movies, plus I return them all to the store on tuesdays for new releases.
Mine also all say long or short wait, but they do come.
I could care less about the order though, I just put the movies I have seen on the bottom of the queue, so far its working great.

You could either do the in-store trade to get the DVD's you want, or create 2 accounts to the same address (I have done the double account thing before with no problems, so me and my wife could have our own queue).

I agree they should up their inventory, but they are trying to make as much profit off a movie as possible, and there really isnt a big enough demand to unload a ton of used duplicate blu-rays after a title cools down.

I had the same problem with BB online, so I solved it by joining NetFlix. I've never had to wait with Netflix for a movie, they always are able to send them, even though on the long wait list for BB online.

I haven't had problems with BD and BB, i used to at the begining, but after a couple of months they seen to work like regular movies. Remember is supply and demand and nothing works overnight. If your that disgruntled about it go to Netflix. It probable has to do with your location too. By the way you made the same thread on the movies section had alot of response but not one answer by you? And your second post comes as a repost, seems like your not here to participate? Trolling are we? If not welcome if so please leave we dont need your kind here.

Sorry Im new here . Im not sure what I would be doing here other than looking for some friendly help. I see thats not your strong suit, -friendly that is . For everyone else thanks for the info. Im sure its the fact that there is high demand in my area. I love the blu ray format and this is a great website but I dont know why me not answering in a 24 hour peiod makes me someone that is trolling. Oh well I thought this would be a lot friendlier here.

Blockbuster isn't robbing anyone. The company is trying to make a couple of businesses work. Both the online DVD rental and local store DVD rental businesses are very difficult. Netflix is profitable, Blockbuster entered the business with a pricing plan that was a money loser and now has a customer base and needs to figure out a way to make it profitable. I wish them luck, I hope it succeeds. I am happy with the service but I do see a need for improvement. From my point of view, a much greater quantity of each Blu-ray title would be an improvement. Would it be a profitable move? I doubt it.

thats why i like movie gallery more. I spend 1.65cent per rental and get to keep it for 4 days, and knowing that i was able to pick the movie/format that i want. I never got into netflex and Blockbusters. they are a rip-offs.
