Default Paramount is no "Jack Ryan"

I ordered the Jack Ryan Collection from Amazon.com on August 19, way before Paramount's announcement. Amazon shows my order as active and they state they will ship this Blu-ray collection on October 29. Would Paramount betray the trust that both a major distributor and a loyal customer put in them when they announced they would release this collection in BR?

You will want to look closer at the Amazon order. The last time I looked the title was no longer a link and if you go into Amazon and look for the title in Bluray it has been posponed.

Yes, Paramount has abandon their previous Bluray announcments to include their customers and a major distributor for a few million bucks from those that will offer you less. Typical business politics. The people in control think only about dollars and not future expantion and capability from todays technology selections.

Yep, I was looking to replace my SDDVD version with a copy in Blu.

I guess I'll have to wait for a few years.

Until - then Buy! Buy! Bluray and enjoy the titles from supporting studios.
