Moving to Vancouver soon, any advice, help, roomies???

This thread is far from "on topic" but I figured that people with the same entertainment passion as myself would be a good resource to use in my particular situation. I am looking to move to Vancouver at the end of October or early November. Thought I'd throw a shout out to the West Coast Blu-Blood Canuckers and ask if they have any leads on places to live. Anybody know of any studio apartments in central Vancouver at a reasonable cost? Or, does anybody know of a friend/relative looking for a roommate (who can offer the added bonus of Hi-Def equipment)?

Any feedback/assistance would be muchly appreciated as the stress incurred through a cross-country relocation can be devastatingly detrimental to ones physical AND mental health. Also, I will be in Vancouver on Sept 18th for at least a few days to look at potential living accomodations.
