Default Vancouver, BC Blu-rayers! Cheap BD's at...

Hi to all the Blu-Ray nuts in Vancouver and surrounding areas... Charlies Music on Granville St has a pretty healthy stock of used BD's for sale and they're cheap! I'd say at first glance they have around 25-30 titles to pick from, some multiple copies, and none of them are priced higher than $19.99. I picked up Speed (a minimum $30 disc at FS and BB) for $19.99. Also, if you buy a few titles, the store staff will generaly round the price off to the lowest dollar (eg $19.99 becomes $19) and they'll even shave off the taxes! I know most people would keep this little gem of a secret to themselves but I like to share.

Also, as a side note, Charlies also has TONS of new BD's for sale as well and the prices aren't bad either. I got both PotC flicks for $26.99 each; that's a savings of about $3 per disc from most other retail outlets.

Anyways... good hunting everyone

Hey Bluzombie...Quick question, have you seen any Blu's like "The Island" or any other releases up in Canada (not normally found in the US)?

Charlie's doesn't have a bad selection, I might pick up a $20 Kingdom of Heavan although I want to support Blu and (generally) pick up the titles at retail.

Hey doctorD... no, no such luck finding imports up here. If I stumble across any places in my travels I will post them up.
