Default Help me pick some good Animated Blu-ray Cartoon movies

Ok so me and my family got toy story 3 and it was a great movie..also got the movie UP which i never saw before..loved it! So i own those...today when i got home from work my family was up watching monsters inc it was on the movie channel starz in hd and it looked great (i have a 65" 1080p samsung lcd) Thinking about buying that..My girl likes the movie princess and the frog..i thought it was pretty good too..I never really paid attention to cartoons much for years...But lately the ones i have seen are interesting and good story lines...I like the ones that are for adults and kids. Just looking for some suggestions of the best cartoons (story & visual wise) to own on blu-ray. Give me your top 3. Thanks

Incredibles comes out on Blu next spring - great movie!!!

I also second Kung Fu Panda - very funny and has great action and the animation is top notch! And, if your kids like it, you can take them to see Kung Fu Panda 2 coming out this summer.

#1) Ratatouille (you will be blown away)
#2) Wall-E (on of must have titles on blu ray, a masterpiece)
#3) Kung Fu Panda (incredibly enjoyable film, I havent yet seen a person who didnt absolutely love it, you will laugh to death)

For your doughter
#4) Beauty and The Beast (IMO best animation with best PQ/AQ available on blu ray, beats Princess And The Frog by a mile, both you and your doughter will absolutely enjoy it)

My top three would not be good for kids. And it's likely that any three popular movies I name will already be mentioned by everyone else.

Instead, I'll reccomend these three unconventional films:

"Castle in the Sky." It's an anime, but it's on a level similar to a classic Disney film, and is family-friendly. Very adventurous, upbeat, fantastic, and fun. And I always felt it's a wonderful imaginative story.

"The Secret of Kells." An excellent play on Celtic myth and culture, with a pretty decent story and stylish animation.

"Dragon Hunters." Very imaginative and stylish, with lots of incredible imagery. A short and fun flick.

I'm a huge fan of animated films from every single country in the world. Here are my recommendations for the current best animated films on Region A or Region-Free blu-ray that are not only for children but for adults as well:

Ponyo
Nightmare Before Christmas
The Secret of Kells

Ok, so my official recommendations.

Kung Fu Panda - can't go wrong here.
How to Train Your Dragon - awesome, awesome movie
Bolt

(Incredibles when it comes out on Blu - one of the best superhero movies out there).

All have awesome PQ/AQ and are fun for kids and adults.

Then I'm wagering you haven't seen Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (if you can find it), Pinocchio or Fantasia in the past memory lately.

(Are we still in 2008 mode, that we're only recommending CGI movies?...Snap out of it, people! )
