Default Question about 5.1...
yeah. Im not sure how surround sound works. Anyways.

I have a 5.1 surround sound system. However, on the back there are only Red, and White ports for the audio.

Im confused here... if surround sound is going to come out of 5 speakers, and a subwoofer with each speaker displaying different sounds- Wouldnt you need 5 Audio ports in the back?

I honestly dont get it... is my surround sound DVD player ""Fake"" surround sound or somthing?

Also- if it IS fake, and is just displaying the right channels through the 2 right speakers, left channels through the 2 left speakers, and mono sound through the front-

Where do you get "Surround sound" Wires for a playstation 3? I've never seen them... and they arent on the HD PS3 wires.

Anyone care to explain?
