I forgot all about BTTF being rumored... but it wasn't confirmed IIRC? It's usually a safe bet when hearing rumors from Bill Hunt but Blu-ray time frames change all the time it seems.

I can't wait, I guess we'll wait and see.

............. found this .............

From Thedigitalbits.com

"Back to the Future Trilogy (Universal - strongly rumored, as 2010 marks the original film's 25th anniversary)"

"As always, all of the above information is to be consider unofficial and subject to change until the studios in question make official announcements. Stay tuned."

Thanks! for the feedback guys!

Luckily I have all these films on DVD to keep me going for now, but I'm still really looking forward to seeing them all released on Blu-ray especially the "Back To The Future" trilogy which I think/hope will look great on Blu-ray.

As for that Canadian release of Nightmare On Elm Street, if it has no features I think I'll have to pass, the fact I already have it on a feature packed DVD I'm hoping for a Blu-ray release that at least matches the features of the DVD version to really justify the upgrade, I also hope that it will be
"fully uncut"

Cheers!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Nightmare boxset from New Line when the remake is released on Blu.

Yes! you could be right there, that is the sort of time they may decide to cash in.

Hope that New Line release them sooner though, even if it's only the original Nightmare On Elm Street that would be something, although I admit some of the sequels are pretty good to.

It was confirmed to be coming, but the date was always speculated to be sometime in 2010.
