Not sure if this is true, but my trusted magazine in Indonesia said that 40GB PlayStation 3 is due to be released soon for a cheaper price. Not sure if this is for Asian market, or the whole world

i have heard the same romours of a 40 gig verison that was "gussed" to drop at the price of 399 some time aroung the end of march but it was just romouerd it seems possiable it help sony keep competative on the blu-ray player front and the consol front especialy on consol front

The 40GB rumor was started by a Microsoft exec a couple of months back after a much-publicized bet with Newsweek reporter N'gai Croal.
