I can't quite remember this move specifically, but I probably saw it as a kid years ago =) And I'll collect anything Hammer/vampire, so this is excellent news!

Now if only Amazon would stop sending me emails about them not delivering non-essential items on time so I can get this on release day, lol

that one isn't a Universal owned title though i don't think. so far ti seem like all tey have announced are the Universal ones

Another Great cover from Artist Mark Maddox. Day 1 for me as usual. Also one of my favorite Hammer Films. In 1:85.1 Finally !! I hope The Brides of Dracula and Phantom of the Opera will be coming next. : ) ...... If only a Restored Curse of Frankenstein would get released ! Shout or WB ? I hope Shout releases it. WB will have No Extras just the usual Trailer. Booooooooo !

I saw KISS OF THE VAMPIRE in 1963, on a double bill with THE SWORD OF LANCELOT.

At the age of 9 then, the scene in which Isobel Black opens Edward de Souza's shirt and scratches his chest with her fingernails was probably the sexiest thing I had seen on the big screen at that time. The popular Disney films of the day didn't have content like that.

One of the film's highlights is the hypnotic "Vampire Rhapsody" which is played on a piano. The alternate Universal TV version of this film (which will hopefully be included on the Blu-ray) cleverly "borrows" the vampire music with a scene in which the same melody is heard playing from a small music box.

Since Katy Wild is contributing an interview to Scream's Blu-ray of THE EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN, I am hoping that Scream will interview "vampire vixen" Isobel Black for the upcoming KISS OF THE VAMPIRE disc.

Yeah I feel like I'm disappointed every time I watch this, really fizzles in the second-half. Might grab this eventually for completion sake, though.

In the UK it went out on a double with Paranoiac. It was the first Hammer horror film I saw at the cinema, I should really have been 16 to see it (X certificate, 16 & above only), I was only 13, but tall for my age so they let me in (we didn't have any of this ID stuff in the UK). I think it's a very good film.

This edition looks great!

I have the German blu which has a few extra seconds of footage than the UK/US blus.

I don't know what those seconds are... but wonder if it will be included in this CE.
