What do you guys think the expected prices of JVC and Daewoo will be> - Blu-ray Forum

What does everyone think will be the expected prices? $400 or below? That would be great if they enter the market below the prices of the Sony and new Samsung. Anything that helps.

That seems to be the $64,000 question for all the new BD players. Somebody's got to admit to a shipping date and a price, and I mean somebody with a MSRP below $1,000!

They'd better spit out some info soon, or it's off to Amazon for a PS3 for me!

I am almost certain that it will be around $399.99.

And judging by the lack of info on either, my guess is we won't see them until next year, if ever. And not necessarily Q1, either.

I expect I will give up waiting and this weekend buy the Amazon PS3 deal with 8 movies.
