Default IFA: 2007, Daewoo announces support for Blu-ray

Daewoo have announced their intention to support the Blu-ray Disc format by introducing dedicated players compliant with the BD-Video 2.0 specification (BD-Live). No details were given on availability or price, expectations are for sub-$500 and a November introduction.

YAY!

Daewoo is one of Future Shop's favorite "semi-Name" brands in Canada... they tend to be cheaper than the stuff like Sony, Panasonic etc...
