Was at the Taste of Buffalo yesterday, JVC had a High-def display trailer. The Matrix was shown with a high def projector. It looked like DVD but after the video presentation it said it was coming soon to Blu.

Default Matrix UK region coding

Hey
I live in Canada and I pre-ordered the Matrix trilogy from amazon.co.uk for $15.99. I was wondering whether or not this will be region coded?? Does WB usually region code their Region B releases??
Thanks

The only titles released in Region B by Warner that have been locked were Hairspray(New Line) and Rambo(Lionsgate).

Neither of those titles were released by Warner over here (or New Line/Lionsgate for that matter). Hairspray was EiV and Rambo was Sony. All Warner BDs are region free.

Yikes! That's cheap! Was there a glitch on Amazon? Do you have the link? I only see it listed at around $65US/CAN.

It's not 15.99 USD. They listed the Trilogy on sale for 14.99 GBP but corrected the pricing mistake after a few days though they honored the orders with the pricing mistake.

Yep and if you want to import it don't forget the small print - UK Post office Handling Fee of £8

The $65 UK price is still better than the $90 US price on Amazon. So I may have to wait a month for it to be released after the US version no big deal.

It's the fact that we cannot get it in the UK that annoys me. I don't mind paying the import duty to be honest it's the 8 quid handling fee that just adds insult to injury as it's another case of Rip Off Britain

yeap.. those of us who were lucky enough to pre-order when they had it mis-priced! Amazon UK had it also at that price so I pre-ordered there as well ! :P

If you're prepared to wait a couple of months extra (till 1st Jan 09 I think) the customs limits are going up and you can import anything up to about £120 without getting charged customs fees.
