Default Things that annoy me with all movies

Why would I want to watch previews on a disc I paid for? I could never understand this part.

I Wish that all blu-ray's would have a option before the disc start's that gives you the option to watch the Movie like thesse:
The Ultimate Theater Viewing Experience
where they give you the theater experenice

The Bare-Bones Expeerience:
Just The Movie

I wished that exxplostions not be limited to tv screen and also happen in my living room, like the live action, I'm in the middle.

The discs, if they could glow in the dark please

I will readily admit, I think all discs should have a skip previews option, I already gave you my money to acquire the movie, I should be able to see it immediately after putting it into my player.

You're not buying the movie. You're paying for the rights to view the movie, along with any "extra" content that the studio decides to put in front of, during or after the film.

We should consider ourselves lucky that studios aren't inserting previews into the feature film every 15 minutes like commercials they could do that if they wanted to.

I don't agree with it, but there's nothing we can do. At least they're not bombarding us with ads on the packaging or menus... just some skipable trailers at the beginning of a movie.

i personally like trailers on the discs...it does give it that theater feel, plus the movies that now download new trailers to the disc everytime you watch it via live is pretty neat and keeps it fresh...

Realistically, they couldn't. I mean, yeah, they could, but who's going to purchase such a release? Consumers would respond swiftly and definitively to that little idea with their wallets. Never would happen.

I just skip them if I don't want to see them. To me it is no big deal Just like the load times. Most of the time they might be on & I am getting ready so the movie is ready when I am...

It could happen... look at how many movie channels do it now. It won't, but never say never. That would actually be a great way to get people back in theaters.

Enough of this crap. Thats all I see is people whining about previews. They been there since VHS and they aren't gonna go away anytime soon. So people just need to stop crying about it, like its such a damn problem to them.

I understand you not wanting to watch previews, however your logic is flawed in regards to having paid for it.

You pay for cable and still see commercials
You pay for the news paper and still get ads
You pay for magazines and still get ads

Having paid for it hasn't and never will negate the need for advertising in order for the provider of any such service to try and make a few more dollars.

But, while we are on the subject of something that annoys me. What really annoys me when putting in a blu-ray there is the huge advertisement trying to convince me how awesome blu-ray is and that I should get blu-ray because of the supierior audio and picture quality.... No F'n $h!t... I'm well aware of the benefits, I'm watching a blu-ray people!!!... Now that is simply rediculous!

If I recall correctly, I believe it is Sony that always has thier huge "Blu-ray is awesome" advertisment with action clips of movies flashing by to demonstrate it's awesomeness.

Maybe their is someone who is watching a blu ray over at someones house and that one person doesn't have blu ray yet and they've never seen a movie on blu ray before.

I had this attitude for so long, until that fateful day when I joked "Just for shits and gigs, wouldn't it be great for Echo Bridge to reissue every 2.35:1 film they get their hands on in a cropped 1.78:1 version, just because they can!? Hahahaha!"...and now look where we are. Yeah, sorry guys.
