One thing I found interesting about todays hoax was the responses from insiders...

None of them(on both sides) could confidently say nothing was happening today!
Something BIG is going on behind the scenes right now... I just wish I knew what it was.

What people should have learned from yesterdays fun is basic internet 101. Do not believe everything you read, say, or hear on any internet medium unless from an excessively trusted source.

What have I learned from the hoax?


That we can actually have an intelligent conversation/debate about the issues. I was very pleased with people's responses both being intelligent at times and whitty at times.

Edit: Even when HD-DVD supporters joined in, we kept the mud slinging at a minimum and even welcomed some of them to our conversation.

One other thing to remember here, the HD DVD fans are not that smart. They poked fun at us by saying one of their top three biggest supporters, was going to go exclusive to blu-ray. They thought it made us look dumb, when they said that Warner wasn't happy with them.

Why would it have a relation to blu-ray or hd-dvd... it's G4, they don't care about HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.
