Default Casino Royale

Hi,

I just bought Casino Royale and Layer Cake from Amazon.com and noticed something a little odd. There is no artwork on both discs. Both discs have a generic design (same on both) and the title of the movie.

These are the only Blu's i've seen like this. Is this normal?
Can anyone who owns either of these movies confirm there isn't supposed to be some specific artwork on them?

Thanks.

Standard Sony/Columbia discs. Don't worry they're not bootlegs.

Phew (sigh of relief).

Thanks for the info guys. While a little disappointed, I am relieved.

Yeah I always thought it was pretty lame that the front man (Sony) couldn't do a better job of Artwork on the actual disk. Lionsgate ones typically have some pretty nice ones.

This happened at the advent of DVD as well. I remember questioning it on some of the first discs. Some Production houses continued with the generic discs too, if memory serves correctly.

It doesn't quite have the same appeal as say Fantastic Four Silver Surfer. Nice art work on that disc, at least the transfers top notch,
