just thought i should let you guys know that. Its seems that Paramount started their aggressive add campaign for the summer 2008. they just aired the Iron Man trailer on Spike TV. CSI is currently playing, and they showed the trailer twice already. the trailer is about a 1 and a half to 2 mins long.

so you might want to switch the channel to spike tv and check it out. its AWESOME.

i know where you are coming from. I just wanted to point out that they started the ad campaign way earlier than expected which is weird. was that part of the deal with the HDDVD group? but just to let you know the trailer looks good. the film has potential for greatness. let's pray that the format way will be over before or after the holiday season.

I've never been a huge fan, but I've always liked the character. Now that Marvel has him acting like Hitler-lite I have no interest in anything associated with his name, the Paramount thing doesn't help either.

The format war will probably be over by then (Summer 2008), it will take 4-6months for the movie to come to video, I really doubt HDDVD will last this long...unless another big studio defects to HDDVD

I know, but normally an aggressive ad campaign starts around november to december for upcomig summer movie. What's weird they aired the trailer twice today already and its september way earlier than usual, and unlikely of paramount. was this part of the deal with hddvd?

Yea I saw it! I think Downey Jr. can pull it off. SGI looks really good. Then they were like May 8th, I was like what the crap. I don't recall a regular commercial for a movie so early (except sponser promo) Then I saw Paramount, then forgot about it instantly. Crazy how that now work for Universal, and Paramount.

The only Paramount movie I will be seeing is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!
