I see in your sig that you got Full metal Jacket. The HD dvd PQ is pretty weak, how's it look on Blu Ray? Let me know, thanks!

Thats why you buy it on Blu. Everything looks better in blu Also, are you aware that they re-released it again this week, with a delux addition? If you don't own either be sure to get the delux.

I'm a little worried about it. I mean the HD DVD copy is god awful, so I'm hoping the BR delux is better. Over at the avs forum some claimed it was the way the movie was filmed but who knows. I'm just hoping for something better then what I have.

Its still way too grainy...but I think thats the way Kubrick wanted this movie to be viewed. I love the Movie.....top 5 fav of mine. would buy it on any format, but not the best Blu-ray. Sound is awesome though!!!!!!

You know some commercials are weird. I was watching the Playoffs on FOX and they had a Nissan commercial in HD. But then another playoff game on TBSHD had the same commercial but it was SD. And I could swear that I have seen other commercials in HD on one channel but SD on another.

Could it be that networks charge more for HD commercials?
