Default Denon's Jeff Talmadge interview

I don't know whether this has already been posted, but here is an interesting interview from Denon's Director of Product Development and Systems Integration.

This opens the road for a real quality true universal player.

All the more reason why I am getting the Pioneer Elite BDP-95FD BD player.
It would give me all I want and need (esp. DTS-HD MA) at only $1000.
And I've had many wonderful years of experience with Pioneer Elite products.
I fully expect no less from the Pio Elite 95.

Denon is big in the custom install market.
These tend to want one player that can do it all so that it makes customer education easier for the installer.

From that point of view, a true universal player is worth it's weight in gold.
Plus, those type of clients really care more about conveniences than price.

That said, that Elite player looks killer.
I have to read up on it.
I hope they got the home media feature ironed out.
