Just a question here:

Before somebody starts a "Is this coming to Blu-ray" thread, can you do a little bit of side research and find out what company made the movie? Or better yet, stop asking the questions and just wait for press releases with titles and dates.

Theres nothing wrong with asking questions. Thats how we learn.

In Caligula's defense, he hasn't even been a member for 2 weeks yet. Cut him some slack. He may not have seen the "Official is this title coming to blu-ray thread." And I dont recall anywhere in his post that says "Is it coming?" I believe all that was mentioned is that "Wouldn't it be cool?"

So lets not bash a newbie for posts. Repeat questions and threads happen all the time. I admit it is very repetative and monotonous to read the same thing all the time but is it really worth insulting his inteligence? Im sure he has every ability to search the net on his own but he also probably knows that answers are much easier found on a friendly community forum.

If you really are bitter about it, vent about it to yourself and quit bringing negative posts on a perfectly valid thread...

Another suggestion would be to use the search option and put them under the thread, "The official "Is this title coming on Blu-ray?" thread"

The suggestion is for future reference, of course.

good movie

I'd like to see Vanilla Sky and The Game on BD as well.

Hell, they might be on BD and I just don't know it.

Vanilla Sky is Paramount (as are most of Cruise's movies).

Fair enough...

I apologize.

I am just really bitter about that movie. My girlfriend told me how great this movie was and beautiful and touching and powerful and ....ect. Well, the only time I have ever watched this movie was when my girlfriend made me sit down and watch it ,while my grandfather was on his death bed at the time fighting off his fifth type of cancer, when I was away at college. Whenever I see or hear about that movie I get sad and angry.

This movie has already been released on HD DVD. I wish we could get it on Blu because I really like its visuals.

Good point...got $300M lying around somewhere? I won't insult Universal by saying they will leave for $150M.

though this was an excellent visual feast, it is postmodern fluff at its finest.
it would look great on BD though.

It's possible this one may be headed for a Blu-ray release as it's handled by different distributors overseas.

Robin Williams has made in his career some the crappiest movies i have ever seen. This is most certainly one of them. AWFUL!

Someone must not have liked Dante's Inferno either. But to each his own. I certainly enjoyed the movie as it has great graphix and is somewhat of a psychological piece.
