Is Evil Dead on Blu ray and if not why did they release the 2nd before the 1st?

Probably because the 1frs one is really bold PQ wise, the 2nd has better PQ than the first since i was done witch a much bigger budget..

I think Starz looked at their masters and released the best 4 the had...

Well that makes sense, but I still prefer watching movies in order so whenever sequels are released first it bugs me. I guess it will be released at some point so I will just be patient, I haven't seen the movie in 20+ years.

Well. ED2 is not a Sequel, but a remake with more money than the Original. Both are similar, but 2nd had more stopmotion amination (better one), ending is different and the way Ash react to the situation. In the first, is more Clumsy... in the 2nd he's more 'Comic Book Like'
