Default Small pet peeve - lack of inserts in BD cases

Sorry if there is a thread on this already, (did a search could'nt find thread)

Anyhow this minor annoyance is about how there is never a booklet containing
a chapter reference for the movies in any of the movies I've bought so far. They don't put anything in there except a paper advertising blu-ray (which I think is dumb because cause I already know about bluray if I'm buying one , right?) This also pissed me off when I used to buy regular dvd and often they had no booklet/chapter reference. Maybe I'm whinning but for the exorbanant prices most places charge for BD is it too much to ask for a little booklet on the inside listing chapters and other info. Maybe they do this in some cases but I have yet to buy one containg anything other than an add for Blu-Ray. Am I wrong on this?

If they were included, you would actually read through it to find a specific chapter to start the movie from?

Don't even get me started on those damn security stickers, my poor Rocky Balboa case will never be the same (tear). Anyhow as I said its only a minor annoyance, but it seemed most dvds come with a chapter booklet and have yet to get a blu with one. Just wanted to get all you fine forum members opinion/thoughts on the issue. I think that faint humming noise I can hear in the background must be all of you guys playing the worlds smallest violin for me

I like the studios that include chapter listings on the inside of the cover which can be seen through the plastic. Disney does this on most of their titles. I do think the promotional booklets get a little boring. After you've opened your 80th or 90th BD the promo booklets get boring.

Actually in some cases yes I would look at it to start a particular movie at a certain chapter.

I have hated those damn security stickers ever since they first appeared on standard DVDs... back in what? 1999? 2000?

I wish the Blu's would come with a nice little summary of the movie so I don't actually have to spend all that time watching it.

LOL...great idea! Maybe they could find some space on the back of the case...somewhere in the middle perhaps.

Man, I hate those freaking security stickers! The metal strip under the plastic tab isn't so bad, but the sticky metal spiral under the black sticker on the other side is terrible! What the hell?

Chapter reference sheets have been rendered obsolete by the interactive menu that doesn't require you to leave the movie.

I do agree that it would be nice if they included something in those tabs other than blank piece of paper with a security tag or an advertisement though.

+1 on both of these.

On the subject of a chapter reference booklet, Blade Runner has a nice one.

Pah!

None of these complaints is significant compared to the occasional fresh BD with tenacious fingerprints all over the sweet surface!

just use the pop up menu in the movie to select a chapter, much faster and easier to me, although they need to stop the promo booklets now. War's over
