Default CW sets finale dates

Quote:
The CW will say farewell to One Tree Hill with a two-hour series finale set for April.

The youth-skewing network on Wednesday scheduled the season finales of several series while setting a premiere date for its six-part Canadian drama The L.A. Complex.

One Tree Hill will wrap its nine-season run on Wednesday, April 4 from 8-10 p.m. with an extended finale that will feature interviews with the show's stars sharing their favorite moments and memories.

The network will continue airing original episodes of its Sarah Michelle Gellar first-year drama Ringer, concluding with the Tuesday, April 17 finale at 9 p.m.

Kevin Williamson's The Vampire Diaries and freshman Britt Robertson drama The Secret Circle will wrap their seasons on Thursday, May 10 at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively.

On Monday, May 14, the network will wrap seasons of Josh Schwartz's Gossip Girl and Hart of Dixie sat 8 and 9 p.m., respectively.

90210 will conclude its season the following night, on Tuesday, May 15 at 8 p.m.

Season finales of Nikita and Supernatural are set for Friday, May 18 at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively.

The 18th cycle of America's Next Top Model: British Invasion will crown a winner at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30.

Canadian soap The L.A. Complex, about a group of wannabe stars chasing Hollywood dreams, will kickoff its six-episode run on Tuesday, April 24 at 9 p.m.

America's Next Top Model is still going on is beyond me. Who watches that?!

CW will probably only cancel 1 or 2. How a show can last multiple seasons with less than 2 million viewers is amazing. But that's CW for you.

Well, I guess when you're a 5 tier type station ratings don't really matter. I guess when you only get half a million viewers thats where they draw the lines. They should bring back alot of the comedy type shows the then WB had during the late 90's early 00's. But again this a station for girls.

I got another, maybe that Rachel Bilson show, Hart of Dixie. or whatever its called.

That's been on for a a good what 4 years or so. They also had a new Melrose Place, but canceled it after a season. Which I actually liked.

lmfao my cable provider won't give us the local CW so I've always had to buy the seasons of the show I wanted. So every CW show I bought was a blind buy. Thankfully I've liked all the ones I bought so far. Waiting for Vampire Diaries season 3 is going to be a pain in the @ss.

I download OTH and Supernatural every week because I was able to catch up before their latest seasons started.

I have two stations for the CW. One thats from Philly And another thats from NY. I usually watch the Philly one. it for some reason has a better picture quality. I watch the vampire Diaries, but haven't seen it this season. I'll just wait til it comes out, got the first two on dvd.

Like I said, it only lasted one season. It has a few people from the original Melrose in it.

Looking at Melrose Place's ratings. They're about the same as Gossip Girl's current season. CW is stupid.

Cancelling Veronica Mars will ALWAYS be their biggest mistake. Season 3's ratings were amazing compared to 3/4 of their current shows.

Meh I love Veronica Mars too but the third season was a huge step back from the first two, I'm not convinced the writing would've improved a lot even with a OTH-like 4 year leap into the future.

I know, its mainly geared towards chicks. I guess they keep the show that's been on longer.

Oh, yeah, for sure there. They even made a little teaser of what season 4 would have been like. It's up on youtube in two parts. I'm actually surprised Supernatural has lasted as long as it has.

Hey, I see you Nico from Scream 4.

I remember that show came and went as fast as that show about two dudes dressing up as chicks on some ABC show recently.

Every show is bound to have a bad season. But season 3 was still way better than most of CW show seasons right now.

This is interesting:

I say cancel everything but Vampire Diaries and Supernatural

I'd agree but Hart of Dixie is really starting to grow on me, they can cancel everything but that and Vampire Diaries for all I care, I have all the CW shows I've enjoyed over the years on DVD and BD already.

That was another show that surprised me when it got canceled. I didn't watch it, but cheerleaders seem like a thing people would watch.

A show I liked that was canceled was Reaper. With the way they left season 2
