They frequently start at $39.95 and are then later discounted. The same thing can be said for nearly all of the Vestron releases. A 30% mark down which is likely close to where this will ship with, will equal a release day price of $24.99.

I'll probably get it as a completist and as a fan of Dakota Johnson and the soundtrack; fingers crossed there's another three-disc Target exclusive as those give some interesting insights into the franchise.

I purposely only purchased the first two via iTunes, hoping that a Trilogy would be released with the last film. I wonder what the chances of a 4K Trilogy release day and date are at this point...

That's MSRP. Your standard Criterion would have an MSRP of $39.99 to $49.99.

In the UK we never got any special packaging, except for a digibook for the first film. Seeing as I never got around to picking up the second, I'm just going to wait for the trilogy set and get that instead.

wife wants this so i'll have to get it for her. had to suffer through the other 2 films and will have to watch this one to. sometimes life isn't fair.

Saw this in theatres and will buy it. It's trash, but hot trash. Had fun with a friend at the theatre and laughing. The sex scenes and music are always great.

Pretty sure I bought all the exclusives for 50 Shades Darker and will probably do the same if stores provide them.
